September 2010 - Harrison, MI Rally

The September Michigan Knights of the Highway rally will be September 17, 18, 19 2010 - Clare County Fairgrounds (GPS) 502 Fairlane St, Harrison MI.

Directions: 

US-127 From the South – Take Exit 170 (BR-127).  Turn right at the bottom of the ramp.  Stay on BR-127 (1^st Street) when M-61 turns left.  Continue on 1^st St. to Fairlane St. (on left).  Watch for Knights signs.

US-127 From North – Take Exit 176 and turn right at the bottom of the ramp for BR-127 (Clare Ave).  Stay on Clare Ave until it turns into 1^st Street.  Continue to Fairlane St. on the right.  Watch for Knights signs.

When you send in your rally registration, you will not normally receive an acknowledgement by return mail.  If you have any questions, call the Rally Hosts at (989) 588-4937.

Everyone welcome to come early and stay late. Wednesday Noon through Monday, all extra nights camping $17.00 per night (Wednesday, Thursday or Sunday nights).  If you come before Thursday or stay late, the Michigan Knights of the Highway are not responsible for any damages or injuries you may experience.  If you arrive before Thursday, the parking crew may have to relocate you on Thursday.

Campsites have 30 & 50 amp power.  All full hook-ups with power, water and sewer.

Thursday, Sept 16   - Spend the day relaxing and chatting with fellow Knights. 

Friday, Sept 17   -       About 10:00am - Golf Outing with Jim Riesmersma. 

11:30am  - Ladies Luncheon - will be leaving fairgrounds at 11:45. Line up at the Host’s coach for pictures & car pool at 11:30. 

         5:30 - 6:30pm  -  Potluck Supper  -  Bring a dish to pass, own table service and beverage (coffee will be provided). 

After supper - building will be open for games and cards.  "Putt Putt Golf" Tournament (about 7:00pm).    Cost will be $4.00 with your badge.  "Weather Permitting". Signup sheet at Registration on arrival.

 Saturday, Sept 18 -     8:00 - 9:00am  -  Morning Coffee/cookies  - meet the first timers & visitors. 

                                    9:00 - 11:00am  - Annual Elections of Michigan Knight Officers. 

                                    12:00 (Noon)  -   General Membership Meeting & Election Results. 

                                    GLASS Meeting immediately following General Membership Meeting. 

5:30 - 6:30pm    -  Catered Meal  - Roasted Pork Loin, Scalloped potatoes, Seasoned green beans, Cole Slaw, Rolls & Butter Dessert, Coffee & Lemonade. 

                                    7:00 pm   -   Drawing with James & Linda Thompson (Must be present). 

Sunday, Sept 19  -      8:00 - 9:00am  -  Coffee & Donuts. 

                                    9:15am   -    Singspiration with Jerry Wessel.
